FORGED STEEL SOCKET WELD GLOBE VALVE
A steel valve (shut-off valve) is a kind of structural type of valve for a pipeline in which a special shut—off valve moves reciprocatingly along the central axis of the sealing surface to block the flow of the working fluid. Steel valves (shut-off valves) are used as shut-off devices on pipelines for steam and water and various technological lines, as well as its working medium can be liquefied and natural gases, carbon dioxide, ammonia, and corrosive substances. Steel valves have significant differences in operation from their cast-iron counterparts, first of all, they have rather higher nominal pressure and operating temperatures. Because of this, it can be installed in more severe operating conditions. The steel valve is mainly available in flanged design, which ensures reliable fastening, high-quality sealing of the joint, simplified disassembly without affecting the other locking elements, as well as cap, coupling and welded versions. Valves (shut-off valves) made of steel function perfectly even with large pressure drops, they can withstand the temperature of the working fluid up to + 425 ° C.
